Snowy Owl

The Snowy Owl (Nyctea scandiaca)

A resident of Northern Scandinavia and Russia.
This is a representation of a female, the male is pure white.
A large Owl, it has a wingspan up to 1.5 metres (5ft).
A very nomadic bird and only a rare vagrant to the British Isles.

  2. Nicely done. I would love to see one myself. I like how you drew the wingtips.
